Microsoft Drops the Price of Zune

Yesterday, Microsoft dropped the price of its MP3 player Zune by $50. ZuneInsider.com has reported that now the Zune player will be available at the price of US $199.

It is said to be a strategic move from Microsoft as Apple is about to announce the revamped iPod today.

According to ZuneInsider users are very satisfied with the performance of the 30GB portable player. And now Microsoft expects more buyers to purchase the device.

Microsoft’s Zune features Wifi capabilities, 30GB HDD, 3″ display and even a FM tuner. And it is available in a variety of colors such as White, Brown, Black, Baby Pink and Watermelon Red.
