Cowon Q5W PMP Introduced in the US
Cowon America, Inc has announced the launch of its new Cowon Q5W portable media player. Like other next generation media players, the new Q5W features a touch-sensitive 5-inch high-resolution screen.
The new player features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. For professional use, the player will be loaded with Flash 7 and support for documents created in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. GPS capabilities would be add on advantage of the Q5W player.
Some of the other features of the Cowon Q5W are:

“Discriminating consumers can now do it all in one definitive PMP package: watch movies on a large widescreen, use Wi-Fi to browse the Internet and check e-mails, wirelessly connect to Bluetooth-enabled stereo headphones and even plot their journey home with an optional GPS navigation package. To top it off, the Q5W offers 40GB or 60GB of storage capacity, an advanced photo and document viewer, built-in stereo speakers, an FM tuner and the industry’s best audio/video format support,” Choi added.
Cowon Q5W will be available in the US market in two capacities of 40GB and 60GB at prices of $549.99 (approx Rs. 21,683) and $599.99(approx Rs. 23,654) respectively.
