Microsoft tosses in new LifeCam HD-3000 webcam

LifeCam HD-3000 Microsoft was last spotted foraying into the market with its Express Mouse, Comfort Mouse 3000 and Comfort Mouse 6000 which incorporate BlueTrack Technology and can be easily connected to any USB port. The company has now uncovered its LifeCam HD-3000 webcam.

The offering’s 720p sensor effortlessly records true HD-quality video at around 30fps. Adorned by a 16:9 widescreen, the unit comes along with TrueColor Technology which intuitively renders vibrant video in distinct light conditions. The integrated unidirectional microphone ensures acoustic noise cancellation.

Owners need not worry since the universal attachment base functions flawlessly with various desktops, laptops and notebooks. In addition, users can share videos using Messenger, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter with utmost ease and comfort.

The newest entrant claims to be optimized for Windows Live and works with Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Skype. Besides Windows Live Movie Maker, the LifeCam HD-3000 features Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Live Call Button.

The LifeCam HD-3000 webcam will make users shell out $39.95 (approx Rs. 1,805).
