Acer’s Veriton 4610 and 6610 Series flaunt the company’s Proshield Management and Security software and second generation Intel Core i processors. The company has now introduced its K11 projector which touts to render 200 lumens brightness for remarkable visuals.

The compact offering renders an easy-to-use interface, enhanced media functionality and seamless setup process. The mercury-free LED light source delights owners with longer lamp life. The device boasts of advanced lamp technology with illumination of 200 ANSI lumens and 2000:1 contrast ratio. The newest projector’s native SVGA resolution of 858 x 600 and 4:3 aspect ratio amplify the entire viewing experience.

“This new compact, portable projector allows customers to enjoy exceptional visual quality when viewing images, whether they are at home, in the classroom or at work,” remarked Chris White, senior director, product marketing, U.S. “The Acer K11 is packed with features and functionality that make viewing a variety of visuals easy and fun. Users can even connect the projector to an iPod or iPhone to show off personal photos and videos.”

In addition, the peripheral can be easily adjusted to 16:9 aspect ratio for watching video content from Blu-ray Discs and DVDs. The unit comes equipped with an HDMI port, USB 2.0 port, SD card reader, analog RGB/component video (D-sub) and composite video/audio (3.5mm 4-pin mini jack).

Besides the DLP chip, the device sports the Auto Eco Mode which lowers noise and power consumption. The K11 projector also shows off enhanced Acer technologies like ColorSafe and SmartFormat. The audio performance is leveraged with an integrated speaker with 1-watt output. The offering packs in a handy remote control and a carrying case.
