Epson rolls out new ELPDC06 document camera
Intuitive learning seems to be the buzzing word in the education sector these days. Epson has tapped this requirement with its new document camera which seamlessly works with projectors in order to help teachers expand their presentation options, the ELPDC06.
Users can project live videos of hard copy documents or live demonstrations for enhancing the way to teach their students. Lessons which subsume non-digital formats such as live dissections for biology classes, sharing art pieces, handicraft and live correction of written answers can all be carried out much easily. If a need for video conferencing arises, the peripheral can also act as a webcam.
“Epson is always actively engaging teachers to explore how we can improve their work with our technologies. The Epson ELPDC06 document camera is a result of this interaction, and it is the ideal tools for complementing the digital projectors that are so widely used in modern classrooms,” remarked Samba Moorthy, Sr. GM, Sales & Marketing, Epson.
Weighing just 0.96kg, this foldable ELPDC06 device offers a direct USB connection for easy usage. Featuring 2MP video camera, it comes with 4x digital zoom and simple one-touch autofocus button. Further, driver software and basic image editing software are also included.
As of now, there’s no official word on the pricing and availability details of the latest ELPDC06 document camera.
