Blaze Blink Now offers safety from Computer Vision Syndrome
Long hours of computer use may have been a concern for many tech fiends previously as well. Realizing the need to craft a solution, Blaze has now designed its new Blink Now device specifically to counter eye strain resulting from prolonged PC usage.
Independent studies seem to have confirmed that the blink reflex is considerably reduced when doing computer work. The dehydration of the front surface of the eye is said to be directly proportional to the time that users’ eye remains open between blinks. This ostensibly leads to dry eyes which then gives a rise to eye irritation or a feeling of tiredness.
The astute device encourages users to blink at regular intervals while sitting in front of the computer or VDU screens. Just of the size of a webcam, the blink reminder device displays a blink when switched on. To remind users, this visual display will show a blink at normal intermissions.
Priced at £49.99 (approx Rs. 3,526), the Blaze Blink Now device can be immediately pre-ordered, though the shipping is slated to start beginning mid November.
