Ricoh brings in Priport DX 3343 for digital duplicator market
The expansion of business sectors has led to the requirement of devices offering accurate and efficient services. Companies from diverse segments including education and government sector now have another option in the digital duplicator segment as Ricoh announced the availability of the Priport DX 3343. It has been designed to perform tasks with high-speeds while printing cost-effectively.
The printer-duplicator has been capacitated to print 130 pages per minute. Featuring a heat-free imaging process, the Instant Start Up technology and an automatic shut-off function, the device enables customers to follow environmentally sound practices. The device entails no warm-up time and turns off automatically if it is not used for a certain period, thus enhancing its power efficiency.
“Institutions within the education, church and government industries often run busy production environments that produce a high volume of print materials. With the launch of the Priport DX 3343, Ricoh addresses the need for a high-speed, high-volume printer that produces quality output while adding cost-saving value to a customer’s entire fleet,” remarked Michael Hunter, director, Product Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation.
Users can print content on a variety of paper textures and sizes including construction paper and heavy card stock. The DX 3343 has been outfitted with 11” x 17” wide scanning space which enables customers to easily scan text books. Embedded with an Auto Center/Edge Erase function, it purges binding margins to offer better readability.
The company claims that this digital duplicator is suitable not only for small businesses but also those with multiple departments stretched across a large area. It has been equipped with the new Type 4545A controller that can be used to connect the device with a shared network. Multiple users can thus employ additional Ricoh software like @Remote to smoothly manage all networked multifunction products and printers.
Ricoh has not yet revealed the exact pricing and availability details of the Priport DX 3343.
