Viewsonic NexTV VMP75 media streamer up on Amazon, Newegg
Those who were waiting for specific launch details of Viewsonic’s media streamer that was announced back in June may want to hear this news. Amazon and Newegg have finally started selling the Viewsonic NexTV VMP75 media streamer.
This gizmo streams content from Google, Flicker, ShoutCast Radio, Live365 and even delivers RSS feeds. It enables playback of 1080p full HD videos, photos and music apart from accommodating Netflix Video On Demand. The supported image formats include JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF.
Users are offered a 802.11b/g/n Wi Fi adapter option as well as Ethernet connectivity via LAN with this media streamer. It also lends support to DLNA and UPnP as also SRT, SUB, SMI, SSA, IDX-SUB, IDX, AAS and TXT subtitle formats. Additionally, this device’s chassis hosts HDMI, AV output, USB, USB+eSATA and SPDIF terminals.
Both Newegg and Amazon are selling the Viewsonic NexTV VMP75 media streamer for $129.99 (approx. Rs. 6,000).
