New EyeTV Hybrid unveiled with Windows 7 compatibility
Elgato is all set to bring to the forefront the company’s smallest hybrid TV tuner stick ever. The company unfurls the next generation EyeTV Hybrid which sports a compact appearance drenched in a matte aluminum finish.
According to Elgato, the latest TV tuner stick includes EyeTV 3 software for Mac as well as a driver for Windows 7 Media Center. The company has endowed the new entertainment product with loads of innovative features which can be found packed in a small TV stick. Customers can take advantage of the big picture on their PC or Mac irrespective of whether the TV signal is obtained from an antenna or cable.
The EyeTV Hybrid offering can also capture standard definition video from various other sources as well like a VCR or set-top box. It also has the ability to receive unscrambled cable TV in analog as well as digital. The stick also provides users HDTV channels which are aired for free. Finally, the device comes complete with video cable for composite or S-Video and EyeTV remote.
Despite of the new introductions, the price of the latest version of the EyeTV Hybrid remains unchanged at $149.95 (approx. Rs.6,812).
