Source R&D unleashes the Warpia Easy Dock for Mac and PC

Here’s some good news for all customers who wish to wirelessly connect their Macbooks, netbook or laptop to any standard desktop setting. Source R&D revealed that the Warpia Easy Dock has now hit store shelves. Users can enjoy the portability offered by a notebook as well as the absolute comfort of a desktop PC. This can be achieved thanks to the straightforward plug-and-play interface incorporated by the Easy Dock.
The new offering is thoroughly based on the wireless technology belted out by Wisair. The Easy Dock sports a USB dongle that can be attached to the laptop while the receiver can be connected to a host of devices such as the monitor, keyboard, speakers and mouse.
“Perfect for professionals working from home, students on-the-go, or families with both MacBook and PC laptops, the Easy Dock gives customers ultimate portability and comfort. They can take their compact notebook to business meetings, while still having the option to do more intensive work at home with a full-size keyboard and monitor. It’s also a great solution for those who want to play media on high quality speakers,” commented Marc Levaggi, VP of Marketing for Source R&D.
The notebook is expected to immediately emit a wireless signal to the receiver when the dongle is identified. This will then transmit the images directly to the monitor’s screen with a resolution of up to1400 x 1050. The Easy Dock appears to be a cut above the rest as it offers wireless capabilities without worrying about any cable clutter. The new Source R&D product is compatible with Windows 7, XP, Vista, Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard.
The Warpia Easy Dock for Mac and PC is priced at just $149.99 (approx. Rs.6,806).
