Plustek MobileOffice D600 and OpticBook A300 Scanners Announced
Plustek Technology has unveiled two new scanners in the US, namely MobileOffice D600 and OpticBook A300.
The MobileOffice D600 can easily convert all paper-based documents, plastic cards, embossed cards, ID cards and prescriptions into various digital formats such as JPG, BMP, TIF, Word, Excel and searchable PDF files, ensuring quick and accurate scanning.
All you need to do is click on the given button and see by yourself how the MobileOffice D600 captures both sides of documents and transfers them into a pre-defined directory location in a matter of minutes.
It delivers scanning speed of 19ppm with 300 dpi in color and 55ppm with 300dpi grayscale (about 1 second per page). It has the ability to scan in duplex mode without compromising on the speed.
Coming to the OpticBook A300, it is an USB 2.0 scanning device that has the ability to scan an A3-size page in just 2.4 seconds, maintaining a crisp, sharp image of the page. It is compatible with highly effective image processing, fast and secure PDF conversion, and highly accurate optical character recognition (OCR) software. User can scan thick books without unbinding or dismantling them. All these can be scanned in different formats.
Priced at $329 (approx. Rs. 16,050), the MobileOffice D600 is immediately available. The OpticBook A300 carries a price tag of US $1,999 (approx. Rs. 97,550).
