Igloo 1100 Series launched by GlacialTech
Noise free CPU cooling seems to be the new trend. Joining this bandwagon is GlacialTech who has unveiled the Igloo 1100 series CPU coolers. Four models of the Igloo 1100 series were unleashed namely 1100 Silent/1100 Silent(E)/1100 Silent(2B), 1100 Light/1100 Light(E)/1100 Light(2B), 1100/1100(E)/1100(2B) and 1100 PWM/1100 PWM(E)/1100 PWM(2B).
These CPU coolers are light weight and environment friendly. They are high-performance devices and have low noise. They are specially designed for Intel LGA 1156 processors and are ideal for gamers and PC fanatics. The coolers have a LGA1156i3, i5 socket type and dimensions of 95×67mm. They weigh around 380 gms.
The fan incorporated in these coolers has dimensions of 80x80x25 mm. The MTBF is 40000/35000/50000 hours and they have TUV, UL and CE safety. They have an aluminum 6063T5 material-heat sink and a S45C material clip. They also incorporate High Efficiency Thermal Compounds.
The 1100 Silent/1100 Silent(E)/1100 Silent(2B) have a fan speed of 2000 rpm, airflow of 26 CFM, noise of 20 dBA, input current of maximum 0.168 Amps, consuming power of maximum 2.016 watts and a rated voltage of 12 VDC.
The 1100 Light/1100 Light(E)/1100 Light(2B) have a fan speed of 2600 rpm, airflow of 35.5 CFM, noise of 25 dBA, input current of maximum 0.228 Amps, consuming power of maximum 2.736 watts and a rated voltage of 12 VDC.
The 1100/1100(E)/1100(2B) have a fan speed of 3200 rpm, airflow of 44.1 CFM, noise of 32 dBA, input current of maximum 0.3 Amps, consuming power of maximum 4.32 watts and a rated voltage of 12 VDC.
The 1100 PWM/1100 PWM(E)/1100 PWM(2B) have a fan speed of 3600 rpm, airflow of 50.082 CFM, noise that ranges between 15-38 dBA, input current of maximum 0.456 Amps, consuming power of maximum 5.472 watts and a rated voltage of 12 VDC.
The price and availability of the Igloo 1100 Series has not been mentioned.
