Plustek intros OpticSlim 2400+ ultra thin scanner
Plustek has announced the availability of the ultra thin OpticSlim 2400+ scanner, in India. This 3.3 cm scanner boasts of 1200 x 2400 resolution and 48-bit color depth. The scanner incorporates enhanced Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology that delivers superior results as compared to conventional CCD-based scanner. The OpticSlim can also be used with a notebook via a USB port. It is extremely light-weight, compact and power-efficient.
The credit for the ultra slim figure of the scanner goes to the CIS technology it uses. Thanks to its size, this scanner can be comfortably accommodated adjacent to a notebook and carried with it in the same bag or suitcase. The device is capable of scanning A4-size documents with a resolution of 1200dpi. These features can benefit various people like event management companies, expo organizers, PR agencies and people who are always on the move.

The Plustek OpticSlim 2400+ comes embedded with extremely useful patented software including NewSoft Presto! Mr. Photo 4.0, NewSoft Presto! ImageFolio 4.5, NewSoft Presto! PageManager 7.10, ABBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint. This eliminates the need to buy extra software to manage the scanned images.
