Nvidia’s GeForce lineup of graphics cards now receives an innovative addition in the form of the GeForce 205. The Windows Vista certified graphics card enhances the manifestation of modern games and 3D applications on PCs.

The Nvidia graphics card is designed for PCI Express 2.0 bus architecture that delivers highest data transfer speeds, needed by games and 3D applications. However, it also offers backwards compatibility with existing PCI Express motherboards. The GeForce graphics card incorporates eight Cuda cores and offers 589MHz graphics clock and 1402MHz processor clock.

Driven by Nvidia’s PureVideo technology as well as Cuda Technology, the GeForce 205 fastens video transcoding and delivers better performance than the conventional CPUs. The device supports Microsoft DirectX 10.1 as well as OpenGL 3.1 and offers maximum digital resolution of 2560 x 1600 and VGA resolution of 2048 x 1536. The Nvidia graphics card measures just 2.731” X 6.60”. With 16 processing cores, the GeForce 205 claims to offer over 10x the performance of Intel integrated solution.

The pricing details of the Nvidia graphics card are not yet known.
