KEF has unveiled a high-end wireless subwoofer called the HTB2SE-W. This brand new wireless subwoofer looks more like one of Jetson’s devices while the wireless connectivity almost makes it feel like one. Well, this high-end subwoofer is sure to make even the latest cubic subwoofers look traditional.

The HTB2SE-W incorporates dual 10-inch woofers. One of these dual woofers is passive and promises to enhance the quality of the ambient bass. The device promises to deliver CD quality sound while the 10-inch driver and 250-Watt amplifier promise to deliver enhanced quality bass. The KEF subwoofer will be made available in a glossy black finish.

Measuring around 227mm x 440mm x 385mm, the subwoofer weighs 11.9kg. The transmitter module measures around 147mm x 79mm x 79mm and flaunts its 80dB sensitivity. Boasting of a frequency range of 30Hz to 150Hz, the HTB2SE-W is said to provide 15 litres of internal volume.

The KEF HTB2SE-W wireless subwoofer is expected to hit the market next month. The device is expected to retail for around $1,200 (approx. Rs. 57,645). Well, the looks and the features of this subwoofer surely render it an option worth considering.
