ASUS launches new M4 Series motherboards which support the AMD next generation AM3 processors.

One of the notable features is ASUS’ new 8-Phase power design that offers remarkable 91 percent power efficiency. Thus, it unleashes AM3 processors’ full capability. As the Phenom II AM3 processors support up to DDR 3 2000MHz memory speed, AMD platform gets the DDR3 technology.

Along with the TurboV intuitive overclocking utility and Turbo Key, it offers overclocking and overvoltage. Thus the new ASUS M4 Series provides amazing choice for the AM3 processors usage.

“The ASUS M4 Series motherboards are high performance motherboards aimed at achieving unprecedented performance benchmarks. This motherboard is designed for advanced overclocking and recently an overclockers team from Finland set the new World Record of 3DMark06 and CPU-Z scores with AMD Phenom II and ASUS M4A79T Deluxe”, said Mr. Vinay Shetty – Country Head Component Products, ASUS India. He further added, “The M4 series of motherboards will further strengthen our position as market leaders in the motherboard segment and provide our customers with a high end solution for their advanced computing needs.”

The M4A Series includes M4A79T Deluxe, M4A79 Deluxe, M4A78T-E while the M4N Series comes with M4N82 Deluxe, M4N72-E and M4N78 PRO. Some of the features of the M4A79T Deluxe are 790FX+SB750 chipset, 8CH HD Audio, DDR3 1600(O.C.)/ 1333/1066 MHz memory and 4 PCIe x 16 slot.

The M4 Series incorporates the new 8-Phase power design and comes with the highest phase number of VRM power in the AMD platform. It also has 1 to 2 power phases dedicated to the CPU embedded memory and HT controller, thus ensures stability and longer CPU lifespan. The ASUS M4 Series incorporates the new EPU technology that assures total system power management and utilizes high quality 5000-hour long lifespan capacitors which improve power efficiency.

The ASUS’s exclusive Turbo Key feature helps transform the power button (PC) into an overclocking button. Boost performance levels just with the push of a button. The advanced overclocking tool, TurboV, uses a micro-controller that offers precise 0.02V voltage adjustments. It also lets you save your preferred overclocking profiles. You can enjoy performance boosts without rebooting the system.
