Simmtronics releases Intel G-41 chipset motherboards in India
Simmtronics have unveiled Intel G-41 chipset motherboards for both desktop and notebook users. These motherboards offer maximum 8GB scalability. Moreover, the integrated 2 DIMM DDR2 800 slots enhance the system performance and also deliver up to 12.8GB/s bandwidth system memory.
The Simmtronics motherboards are compatible with LGA775 Intel processors that come with HT technology. They also features 6-channel HD Audio CODEC which helps produce home theater-quality sound.
Intel G-41 chipset motherboards are certified for Windows Vista operating system. They come with Core 2 Duo processor, USB 2.0 and 10/100 LAN. The power efficient core Duo processor runs up to 1333MHz front-side bus and consumes less power compared to the earlier launched Intel chips.
One need not purchase an extra LAN card, thanks to the included Atheros AR8112 10/100 Mbps LAN. The USB 2.0 connectivity transfers data at the rate of maximum 480Mb/s.

The integrated SATA II offers a running speed of up to 3.0Gb/s. This SATA is claimed to support SATA HDD, CD-ROM (soon to be released) and other hi-fi devices along with NCQ function support.
The G41 bundles up Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500, LGA775 socket for latest Intel Core 2 Quad /Core 2 Duo / Pentium Dual-core /Celeron processors, dual-channel DDR2 memory architecture, two 240-pin DDR2 DIMM socket with maximum 8 GB support and it also supports DDR2 667/800 MHz memory.
The rear panel of the motherboard features PS/2 keyboard & PS/2 mouse connectors, four USB ports, VGA port, COM port, RJ45 LAN connector and audio port.
In addition to this, the included internal I/O connectors and headers consist of 24-pin ATX Power Supply Connector, 4-pin 12V Connector, four Serial ATA connectors, LPT header, Clear CMOS header and many more.
The G-41 chipset motherboards also come with Micro-ATX Size, 244mm x 204mm form factor along with AMI BIOS. These AMI BIOS with 8Mb SPI ROM supports plug and play 1.0A, APM 1.2, Multi Boot, DMI and ACPI revision 1.0 specification.
