Strontium intros high density DDR3 and DDR2 Memory Modules

Strontium has introduced new high density memory modules for desktops and notebooks. These include 4GB DDR3 and DDR2 memory modules. The company plans to offer these modules in India for external storage in the near future.
Strontium 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz modules promise to deliver a higher capacity at lower energy consumption. The better heat dissipation feature of these modules renders them a useful upgrade for users on the look out for powerful, compute-intensive hardware and software platforms.
Vivian Singh, CEO of Singapore based Strontium Technology, said, “Dual- and multi-core CPUs for multi-tasking operations, 64-bit operating systems and sophisticated applications require high performance memory with reduced power consumption. To address the need for a more powerful memory support, we have come up with 4GB DDR3 in a single module for our customers.”
The Strontium 4GB DDR2 800 MHz modules are specifically designed for the desktops and laptops both. They claim to provide a perfect memory solution for users who seek to upgrade their existing PCs. The memory modules promise to provide high density and superior performance to the users.
Ajay Kogta, Country Manager, India Sub-continent, said, “Strontium will enter the Indian market for external storage in the near future. Strontium will continue to introduce new products and new versions of existing products that keep pace with technology and satisfy increasingly sophisticated customer requirements.”
The novel Strontium offerings have passed rigorous tests that ensure quality and compatibility with leading brands of notebooks and desktops. The modules boast of features like 2Q calibrations, fly-by topology and dynamic on-die-termination which ensures signal integrity and authenticity. The lead-free and halogen-free Strontium modules come with a life time warranty and are complaint with RoHS specifications.
The Strontiun 4GB DDR3 and DDR2 modules will be made available in India via the company’s channel partners. The 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz memory modules will retail for Rs. 14,000 while the 4GB DDR2 800MHz module will cost Rs. 9,000.
