iKey AK-39 military grade wearable keyboard unleashed
iKey has come up with a unique keyboard design that can be worn on the arm. The wearable keyboard dubbed AK-39 is a rugged device and is specially devised for military use.
The keyboard is planned for use in very harsh electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments. The keyboard features a basic 39-key layout, along with an integrated pointing device that employs Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) technology device which offers left and right-click functionality. The dimensions of the robust keyboard are 6.65” x 3.06”x 0.81” and it weighs just 0.23 kg.
It comes along with an adjustable green LED back lighting which is also available in night vision (NVIS) compatible configuration. The AK-39′s snap-on faceplate diminishes accidental key strokes and can be removed easily to clean the pad.
The military grade keyboard is compatible with all Windows and Macintosh OS. The device is inclusive of 1 year limited warranty.
The pricing details of the AK-39 is not yet revealed.
