Asus Eee Keyboard-PC slated to ship in June?

We have usually seen a keyboard performing the task of a peripheral for a computer. However, with the passing time, there are a few changes that arrive. Asus is said to unwrap an Eee Keyboard that acts as the main device and is integrated with a PC to offer a complete computing experience.

Asus Eee Keyboard-PC

Asus is apparently geared up to raise the curtains off the highly-hyped Eee Keyboard-PC, which emerged at the CeBIT and CES events held in 2009.

The keyboard comes embedded with a PC that runs on Windows XP operating system and is powered by the Intel Atom N270 processor.

In terms of features, it incorporates a 5-inch touchscreen display that offers 800 x 480 pixels of resolution. Probably, the touch-sensitive screen might work as a trackpad. It will also pack in a 32GB SSD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI-out, stereo speakers and microphone.

If believed Engadget, the Asus Eee keyboard-PC will start shipping by late June. The site confirms that it will be revealed at Computex in Taipei.

This puzzling gadget might do wonders in the market after hitting the reality cloud. People, who feel that their desktop PC is occupying too much of space, can completely get enticed on this too-good-to-be-true product. So, can we believe that the traditional computing devices will soon become out-dated and a new trend of keyboard-cum-PC will rule the industry!
