iPod and iPhone users can now prepare to greet another accessory as iHome launches the highly acclaimed iP1 speaker system.

This latest set of speakers is the first product to be introduced in iHome’s new studio series which feature Bongiovi Acoustics Digital Power Station (DPS) technology. This feature has a processor which will dynamically scan all recorded material and compensate for any deficiencies across the frequency spectrum. Thus, artists can be well assured that they are being heard just the way intended to.

“The iP1 is a bold yet logical step for iHome and it’s an exciting challenge to bring our vision of design and sound into the world of high-end audio,” said Evan Stein, vice president of Marketing, iHome. “Backed by Bongiovi’s DPS technology, the iP1 and our Studio Series line, promises a pure sound clarity that will delight both artists and consumers.”

This iP1 speaker gives an output of 100 watts of crystal clear sound. It also has 4-inch custom made woofers and 1-inch silk dome tweeters which have been powered by Bongiovi Acoustics’ proprietary DPS.

This device brings along a fully functional remote control and constituent video outputs which help connect to a variety of video equipment.

This iP1 Speaker System for the iPod/ iPhone has been priced at $299 (approx Rs. 14,450) and can be purchased through Apple, Best Buy or the company’s official website.
