Best Buy offers Western Digital TV Live media player
Recently, we heard about the Western Digital My Passport Elite hard drive. And now the company is back with its rumored WD TV-2. This rumored media player is now called the WD TV Live and is up for sale on Best Buy, informs Engadget.
This media player offers support for Ethernet connection. The DNLA and Bonjour allow users to connect to the home network and access multimedia content stored on the computer. Apart from this, the player also features a USB 2.0 interface. The WD TV Live claims to provide a 1080p display.
The TV Live is compatible with file formats like AAC, MP3 and JPEG. The Dolby Digital and DTS decoders are said to provide a never before sound experience. The WDTV navigation screen allows users to easily find their way through various features. The compact remote control that the device bundles up provides complete control over the various functionalities.
The Western Digital TV Live media player is up for sale on Best Buy. The media player is price tagged at $119.99 (approx. Rs. 5,577). This device is backed by a 1 year limited warranty.
