MSI G41 series motherboards with Windows 7 ready HTPC platform
MSI has introduced a new series of motherboards incorporated with the Intel G41 chipset. These motherboards have been introduced to meet the growing demand for high performance devices. The G41 is said to take the visual enhancement technology a step further.
The Intel G41 chipset is said to feature playback-enhancing decoders, integrated HDMI and DVI ports, multimedia equipment, Intel’s Clear Video technology and support for DirectX 10. The Clear Video technology improves the quality of the videos as well as the level of details to provide a never before experience. This motherboard is compatible with the Windows 7 platform, capable of creating an HTPC.
The Intel G41 chipset’s integrated Intel GMA X4500 GPU supports open GL 2.0 and other graphical standards for total gaming support. It is also said to improve 3D performance. The G41 chipset also supports faster hardware decoding. It also decreases the load on the CPU and is compatible with all current forms of high definition movies.
The Intel G41 chipset also supports HDMI, D-Sub and DVI port. Apart from this, the G41 also features APS intelligent power management, USB safeguard protection and M-Flash BIOS recovery system. The completely solid capacitor design is said to improve the product lifespan and stability. These motherboards also include MSI’s Easy OC Switch technology that allows users to overclock their CPU without much of technical know-how.
The pricing and availability details of the MSI G41 series are yet to be disclosed.
