TRENDnet 450Mbps Wireless N Router for demonstration at CES

TRENDnet Logo TRENDnet is on a roll these days, its all geared up to demonstrate the 450Mbps Wireless N Router TEW-773GR at the CES 2009. This latest Router by TRENDnet claims to offer supreme performance.

The 450Mbps Wireless N Router’s high performance is driven with a chipset, supporting 3 external antennas and 3 spatial streams per antenna. This architecture results into 50 percent improved speed and about 30 percent coverage increase on comparing to the other wireless n solutions. With a dual firewall, it is embedded with GREENnet energy saving technology.

“We are excited to demonstrate this advanced technology at CES,” stated Sonny Su, Technology Director for TRENDnet. “We are currently working through a few chipset stability issues and plan to release a 450Mbps solution in Q3 of this year.”

Some other features of this prototype are Gigabit Wide Area Network, advanced wireless encryption, QoS technology, Local Area Network ports, and supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
