Kingston MobileLiteG2 flash card reader

To speed up the transfer of files from memory cards to the computer, Kingston has introduced the second generation of the MobileLite flash card reader. This second generation card reader is called the Kingston MobileLiteG2.
The MobileLiteG2 is compatible with various card formats like SD, SDHC, microSD, microSDHC, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo and Memory Stick Micro. This flash card reader is small enough to fit into the pocket. The plug and play setup of the reader is said to further enhance its appeal.
“The MobileLiteG2 is a small, portable reader that makes managing content quick and convenient between a device like a mobile phone, digital camera or MP3 player, and a host device with a USB connection such as a PC,” said Wendy Lecot, Flash card business manager, Kingston. “For consumers and business users, the compact size and simple plug-and-play ability makes it an essential part of one’s mobile gear.”
Measuring 2.45″ x 1.16″ x 0.646″ in size, the MobileLiteG2 works flawlessly with USB 2.0 and 1.1 port. This dainty device tips the weighing scale at 18.9g. The light weight renders it completely portable. The flash reader is backed by a two year warranty.
The Kingston MobileLiteG2 flash card reader will be made available as standalone and also as a bundle that includes 4GB or 8GB Class 4 SDHC card. This flash card reader is backed by a two year warranty. The pricing details are still under wraps.
