Recently, we heard that Kingston is gearing up to ship its HyperX DDR3 memory modules this month. And now, the company has announced the launch of its 2133MHz HyperX memory for Intel’s Core i5, in India. This super fast memory module runs at 1.65 volts, which is quite low. The memory is XMP-ready and is claimed to be the perfect choice for users who need to overclock their CPUs often.

Kingston plans to ship an entire family of these XMP-ready HyperX products with different frequencies. The products promise to cater to the needs of users who want to take full advantage of their Core i5 platform. The memory runs at an all time low 1.65volts and is shipping in 4GB kits.

“Intel has worked closely with Kingston on testing HyperX memory for use with the Core i5 platform and P55 chipset,” said Geof Findley, Memory Ecosystem Manager, Intel. “We’ve seen great results from all of the Kingston memory especially the high-performance dual-channel kits. The combination of Kingston HyperX and Core i5 utilizing the Nehalem architecture brings unsurpassed performance for mainstream and enthusiast users.”

“Kingston has worked with our terrific partners including Intel, Asus, Gigabyte and MSI worldwide, to develop a series of memory kits that deliver top-notch performance on the some of the finest motherboards being launched this week,” said Ann Bai, DRAM Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston. “While the 2133MHz modules are engineered for bench markers and overclockers, our recently released 1600MHz frequency is the perfect choice for mainstream users who want to build their own rigs with P55 motherboards and 1156-pin processors.”

The memory modules are available in 1333MHz, 1600MHz, 2000 MHz as well as 2133MHz. These Kingston products also support P55 based Asus and Gigabyte motherboards. Apart from this, the company has also changed a part of the numbering system to simplify the process of deciphering it.

At present only 4GB kits of these memory modules are available for purchase. But the company plans to launch 8GB kits that are compatible with 64-bit operating systems, later this month. The pricing details of these modules are still under wraps. The Kingston 2133MHz memory for Intel’s Core i5 is available at authorized retail outlets across India.
