JokerWorks rolls out Joker Racer R/C Server for R/C cars

JokerRacer Server

With technological level soaring high, JokerWorks has recently elevated the standard by launching its latest Joker Racer R/C Server, claimed to be the world’s foremost linux server for R/C cars to enable internet drive.

Particularly designed for R/C cars, the device is a small-sized and power-efficient linux server manufactured for radio control cars. Users can drive their R/C cars over the internet with their browser by connecting the store-sold web camera and the standard servo/speed controllers of their R/C car.

This new service enables users to race remote-control cars from across the internet. It employs a custom wireless computer that smartly receives digital information through a Wi-Fi connection and translates users’ maneuvers into servo control signals for R/C cars.

Besides, the latest system comes equipped with a USB jack for a compact webcam. Interestingly, the easy-to-use device allows users to use a web browser to drive cars on a closed course, and watch POV video from tiny camera on-board each car.

Further, there is even an iPhone app expected to come in 2010 which will enable users to control cars using the iPhone’s motion sensors.

The Joker Racer R/C Server is anticipated to be available early next year. But the pricing details are quite hazy for now.
