Aimed at designers, graphics and creative artists, Konica Minolta has announced its latest printer, dubbed magicolor 7450 II grafx printer, promising to deliver outstanding color quality.

Based on the award-winning magicolor 7450, it claims to offer print speeds of 24.5 pages per minute (PPM), standard memory of 768 MB with standard 40 GB HDD and duty cycles of up to 120,000 impressions per month. It also has the ability to manage up to 256 gsm paper (140 lb index), paper sizes from 3.55” x 5.5” to banner-sized paper (12.25” x 47.24”), varied media types and a maximum of 1,850 sheets.

The printer boasts to provide total document flexibility with 9600 x 600 dpi-class resolution. It can be processed via the 250-sheet multipurpose feeder and the 100-sheet multi manual feed tray.

By using the contone printing technology, the magicolor 7450 II grafx develops true-to-life photographic detail and smooth color gradients. It also features the proprietary Emperon print systems, including comprehensive and convenient PageScope printer management tools for easy-setup and controls.

Users will appreciate the high speed, high quality output with the image quality and consistency. They can directly print their images from PicBridge-compatible cameras.
