LG HLB54S Blu-ray Soundbar with wireless subwoofer
LG is on a roll these days as it has introduced an array of products into the markets. At IFA 2009 show, LG announced its new addition to consumer electronics in the form of an ultra-slim Blu-ray Soundbar with wireless subwoofer. The device dubbed HLB54S is much more than a sound bar.
The HLB54S promises to deliver the best in class high definition image, sound as well as online content, right into the user’s living room.
With a compact design that complements any room, the device is tuned by Mark Levinson for exceptional sound quality. To offer users the all new in home networking capabilities, this all-in-one system comes with wireless subwoofer and an integrated Wi-Fi Blu-ray player. This 430W system ensures a remarkable home entertainment experience.
The Blu-ray technology along with full HD (1080p) up-scaling further helps deliver remarkably detailed image and sound quality of the Blu-ray movies. The Soundbar has the ability to connect to the various DLNA compatible devices. The integrated Video on demand (VoD) offers one click access to the 2.5 billion online videos on YouTube while the inclusion of BD Live allows access to additional content. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi negates the requirement of hardwired connection.
The HLB54S also comes integrated with iPod / iPhone dock enabling easier recharge and playback of the user’s favorite content using a remote control. Users can connect the device to a gaming console, DVD recorder or HD satellite with the two HDMI ports included. Adding to this is the LG Sound Gallery that provides options such as night mode.
The LG HLB54S is expected to hit the UK in November.
