Kingston rolls out HyperX Fan to keep HyperX memory cool

Kingston HyperX Fan

As the name suggests, Kingston HyperX memory places itself in the category that delivers hyper performance for a long period. In order to calm the overexcitement created by the modules, Kingston Technology has announced the launch of its latest peripheral, dubbed the HyperX Fan. It particularly keeps the Kingston HyperX memory cool.

The latest offering claims to have dual 60mm fans that ensure effective airflow around the modules that, in return, deliver a peak performance for longer periods of time.

Scott Chen, Vice-President, APAC Region, Kingston Technology, explained, “At LAN parties and benchmarking events worldwide, HyperX enthusiasts told us they wanted something cool looking to keep the memory cool. We listened and thus developed this fan as the perfect complement for both the standard and taller HyperX T1 series modules. The hip blue lights give it a bling factor that could be the difference between first and second place in a system-build competition.”

Developed by using anodized aluminum, the HyperX Fan comes in the familiar blue color as the HyperX heatspreaders. On switching the fan on, the blades elucidate eight small blue LEDs.

Other than that, the power used by the HyperX Fan is claimed to be nominal. It also ensures a whisper-quiet 25 dBA of noise.

Backed by a one-year warranty, the Kingston HyperX fan is available either as a standalone product or comes paired with Kingston’s 6GB 2000- and 1800MHz triple-channel memory kits with the T1 heatspreaders for Intel Core i7 systems. It is distributed by HCL, Tech Pacific India and Transtek Infoways across India. However, the price is not yet clear.
