Planon System Solutions offer DocuPen Xtreme X-series scanning pen
Planon Systems Solutions has unveiled the latest DocuPen Xtreme X-series of scanning pens. This series claims to prove that one class of pen can definitely be mightier than all the rest. The X-series lineup encompasses the X05, the X10 and the X50 models. All these models are said to take scanning power to a higher level.
The DocuPen Xtreme X-series is capable of supporting image resolutions up to 600 dpi. Unlike the earlier scanning pens that incorporated a 60 MHz processor, these three models feature a 200 MHz internal processor. Thanks to the new processor, these pens are faster as compared to the earlier versions.

The series incorporates 64MB of SDRAM onboard memory. This RAM perfectly complements the 200MHz processor. Bluetooth Connectivity enables these scanners to connect wirelessly to smartphones, laptops, netbooks and PCs. The bright OLED display that the pens flaunt, makes it easier to navigate their functions. The Lithium-Polymer battery is both light and long lasting.

The X05 and X10 models are capable of scanning in both monochrome and 24-bit color modes while the X50 is capable of scanning higher resolution and grey scale images. All three models offer USB 2.0 support and MicroSD expansion slot. The other features of the DocuPen X-Series lineup include date and time display, memory and battery level indicators and software for editing, organizing, email capability and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) support.
DocuPen Xtreme X-Series scanning pens are now available for purchase on the company’s official website. These scanning pens come at a starting price of $369.99 (approx. Rs. 17,425).
