Sony CMT-Z100iR and NAS-Z200iRc audio systems
Sony has released a new product line of multi-functional compact audio systems that offer high quality sound, the CMT-Z100iR and the NAS-Z200iR. These music systems bundle up slot loading CD player, docking station for iPods, PC streaming and Internet radio (NAS-Z200iR) and integrated AM/FM radio. Let’s take a glance at these products one by one.
Certified by DLNA and with WiFi connectivity, NAS-Z200iR music system offers support for multiple music sources like PCs, CDs, MP3 players, phones, radio and more. This certification enables wireless transfer of data from and to a variety of music sources. It also features PC streaming and intuitive remote control. This means users can easily listen to Internet radio by selecting the radio station with the remote. The 3.5 inch LCD display of the remote further enhances the ease in selecting songs on iPod, PC or switching radio channels.
This Sony music player also incorporates USB connectivity for MP3 player, audio-in port and CD player. This CD player enables playback of AM/FM radio, audio CDs as well as MP3 tracks on the CD-R/RW discs. Moreover, two independent 20W speaker enclosures are carefully integrated to ensure minimum vibration between the speakers and the main unit. With the double neodymium magnets, the bass drivers deliver powerful natural performance.
Available is glossy black and white colors, the CMT-Z100iR sound system sports a compact svelte design. The array of features included in this device are AM/FM radio tuner, audio-in port, iPod / CD / USB playback, two 20W speakers and remote control along with a large display that shows the time and selected functions. Additionally, the bass/treble adjustment enables tailoring of the sound according to individual preferences while the acoustic technologies (also found in NAS-Z200iR music system) deliver rich and clear sound.
These Sony music players can be mounted on the standard TV mount, called the VESA wall bracket. The Sony CMT-Z100iR will be available in July this year while the NAS-Z200iR music system will arrive in Europe this year in mid September. The pricing details are yet to be announced.
