Simmtronics unveils 2GB DDR3-1333 memory modules

Simmtronics Memory Modules Simmtronics has launched new 2GB DDR3-1333 MHz 240-pin DIMMs. These DDR3 memory modules are apt for high power consuming activities like gaming, animation, graphic designing on notebooks and desktops.

It delivers quick transfer speeds and comes with 8-bit bandwidth compared to the DDR2 memory modules that come with 4-bit prefetch buffer. It is claimed to be good for modern systems containing dual or quad-core processors.

According to Vinit Shangle, National Sales Manager, Simmtronics Semiconductors Limited, “We are confident that our customers will appreciate the reliable high quality, outstanding performance, excellent compatibility, and stable operation that our new DDR3 Memory Modules offer. Simmtronics Memory Modules are the obvious choice of discerning power users who have a strong appreciation for rock-solid performance.”

This module uses 30 percent less power compared to DDR2 memory module. Low power consumption also minimizes 20 to 30 percent of actual memory power consumption.

The DDR3 memory modules are made of quality material from Samsung or Hynix. Moreover, this memory module goes through laboratory tests to check whether they are competent enough to deliver steady quality and efficient performance.

DDR3 modules transfer data at the speed of 800–1600 MHz. This speed is quite higher compared to the 400-800 MHz speed of DDR2 and 200-400 MHz speed of DDR memory modules. It utilizes rising and falling edges of a 400–800 MHz I/O clock to attain this amazing speed. Like DDR2 memory modules, DDR3 modules too sport 240 pins of the same size.

Backed by five year of warranty, Simmtronics 2GB DDR3-1333 MHz 240-pin memory modules are priced at Rs.3400.
