After three years of development and a chain of delay, Art Lebedev has finally announced the shipment of its long-awaited and much-hyped keyboard, called the Optimus Maximus OLED keyboard. The company has begun shipping the keyboards to only those people who had pre-ordered them in 2007.

Claiming to offer complete functionality into one device, it is equipped with a screen in each key that has the ability to display the functions that have been assigned. It features full 113 active keys.

It is available in 4 configurations such as 1 active OLED button, 10 active OLED buttons, 47 OLED buttons and 113 OLED buttons. However, only 3 configurations are available for pre-order at present.

It also supports OS X and Windows versions of the configuration software

Shell out a high amount of around $1,564.72 (approx. Rs. 62,557) to order an Optimus Maximus OLED keyboard via the artlebedev store.
