Art Lebedev intros Optimus Pultius OLED keypad
Art Lebedev, has always designed the best devices for consumers. We have reported few of the company’s products before like the Optimus Popularis Concept Keyboard, Optimus Maximus OLED Keyboard and the Conceptual Finger Folder USB Flash Drive.
Now, Art Lebedev has announced to introduce its latest customizable OLED keypad, known as Optimus Pultius. Art Lebedev has integrated OLED screens, which sport a resolution of 48×48 pixel, at the back of each key. Consumers will be able to assign their required function to each key, related to the icon. On the keypads, consumers can also check out animate images up to 10 frames per second.
There are 15 keys on the Optimus Pultius keypad for operation. The device also comes embedded with an extra built-in USB port and an SD card reader. It has been created to work as an add-on to your existing keyboard setup.
It is believed that the Optimus Pultius OLED keypad will be available by end of 2008 or early 2009. However, the price of the product still not announced. We hope that the latest keypad does not carry an expensive price tag like that of the Optimus Maximus.
