Razer, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end precision gaming and lifestyle electronics peripherals, has announced the availability of its latest mouse peripheral called Razer Goliathus. It is a premium grade soft mat that offers smooth operation while using the mouse.

It comes in two versions, namely Speed Edition that consists an improved cloth weave to deliver maximum speed and seamless control over mouse, and the Control Edition that comes in heavily textured weave to provide enhanced control. The soft mat claims to offer pixel-precise targeting and tracking and is optimized for all mouse sensitivity and sensor types. The included rubber base helps users for a fit grip and smooth surfaces.

“The Razer Goliathus was developed after much field-study with our scientists and professional gamers. The Razer Goliathus is suited for all mouse types, sensitivity setups and playing styles, and is engineered for any professional gamer,” noted Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president of Razer.”

With the ability to meet the demands of every gamer’s style, the Speed Edition comes bundled with an improved iteration of Razer’s proven woven fiber technology. It is known to deliver a full-scale speed with razor-sharp responsiveness of hard mats as well as accurate control and comfort by using uncoated soft pads.

Developed to enhance the precision and tactile response of gaming-grade mice, the Control Edition does away with excessive drag and premature surface degradation. With the help of the tournament-tuned textured weave, this soft mat allows all mice to register even small movements and prove to be useful while tracking and controlling.

Available in three different sizes, the Razer Goliathus grade soft mat is scheduled to hit the US market this month for an estimated price of $14.99, 19.99 and 24.99, depending on the size. The European launch is expected to be at the same time with the suggested cost of €12.99, 17.99 and 19.99.
