NVIDIA Announces 4 GB Quadro FX 5800 Graphics Card

Scalar Teleglass T3-F NVIDIA announced its latest Quadro FX 5800 graphics card.

The Quadro FX 5800 graphics card features 4 GB graphics memory, interactive 4D modeling with time lapse capabilities, up to 240 CUDA programmable parallel cores, up to 102 GB/sec memory bandwidth, fill rates of over 52 billion texels per second and 300 geometry performance.

Jeff Brown, general manager, Professional Solutions, NVIDIA, stated, “The Quadro FX 5800 has advanced features to allow massive datasets to be viewed beyond traditional 3D enabling professionals to make fast and accurate decisions.”

Moreover, the FX 5800 provides compatibility with next-generation OpenGL and Microsoft DirectX 10 applications; and Quadro G-Sync II to deliver enhanced multi-system and multi-device visualization environments. It ensures extraordinary performance and scalability to quickly visualize and interpret massive datasets.

FX 5800 GPU also incorporates true 10-bit color to allow billions of color variations, delivering rich and vivid image quality with the broadest dynamic range.

The NVIDIA Quadro FX 5800 graphics card is priced at $3499 (approx. Rs. 1,72,290).
