Keyspan Wi-FI TuneView Remote Control for iTunes Released

Keyspan Wi-FI TuneView Remote Control Keyspan has announced the launch of its wireless remote control, called TuneView, that can operate iTunes on a PC or Apple Mac.

The features of the TuneView include a color LCD screen with iPod-like menus that enable browsing and managing iTunes music, video, radio and podcasts from 150 feet away easily.

The iTunes remote has the ability to work with both PowerPC and Intel-equipped Macs running OS X, as well as Microsoft Windows XP PCs.

“TuneView provides the missing piece to the PC music server puzzle. There have been many ways to feed sound from iTunes to a stereo system, but there has never been an effective and affordable way to control iTunes from anywhere in your house,” explained Mike Ridenhour, President, Keyspan.

The other specs of TuneView are 10-button keypad, TuneView USB transceiver, 2.4 Ghz RF connectivity between remote and transceiver, RF signal and iTunes content. It also supports English, French, German and Spanish languages.

Additionally, Keyspan’s latest remote controller also works with Apple’s AirPort Express, Xitel’s Hi-Fi Link and other products, which can connect computer based music servers to AV receivers or multi-room audio systems.

Keyspan’s TuneView remote control for iTunes retails for $149 (approx. Rs. 6000).
