Epson Perfection V500 Photo Scanner Launched in India
Epson India has announced its Perfection V500 Photo scanner in India. It is a dedicated photo scanner featuring ReadyScan LED Technology, which ensures fast scanning with zero warm up time and very low power consumption.
With the stylish look, the scanner features optical resolution of up to 6400dpi (dots per inch) with a rich 48-bit color depth. Besides, it supports variety of film formats. The easy-to-use film holder allows users to scan 12 frames of standard 35mm filmstrips, four frames of 35mm mounted slides or 1 frame of medium format at one go.
The V500 Photo scanner also scans old photos without any hassle. Its Digital Ice technology digitally clears dust and scratch marks and ICC Profile Embedding ensures that the colour reproduction is kept accurate.
The scanner can also be outfitted with an optional 30-sheet (up to A4 size) capacity ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) to enhance productivity.
The scanner comes along with softwares that are useful in many ways such as the High Compression PDF function in Epson Scan that helps keep scanned documents at a minimal file size while ensuring text remains readable, while the ABBYY FineReader 6 Sprint Plus is a powerful Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool that converts the image of a text document for easy editing with MS Word or MS Excel.
EPSON Perfection V500 Photo scanner will be available in the Indian market at the price of 15,999 INR.
