Atlantic iceBar, an iPod Water Resistant Speaker announced
It seems as though peripherals manufacturing companies are constantly flooding iPod users with various kinds of accessories. After the iHome iH2OW water resistant speaker, one more waterproof iPod speakers come to the market.
Atlantic has announced to launch the iceBar waterproof nano speaker for iPod nano. It is not just a speaker but also acts as a water resistant case for the nano. When an iPod is stored inside, it looks like the nano fitted in the icebar- even the product name suggests the same.
The speaker is powered by three AAA batteries and delivers about 18 hours of playback time.
The iceBar allows full access to the clickwheel, power button, and mute functions. Other features of the iceBar include: a flip-out leg, nylon wrist strap, a miniature “buoy,” shatterproof polycarbonate body.
Atlantic is planning to ship the iceBar speakers around in December at the price of $70 (approximately Rs. 2,820).
