Microsoft intros Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 and Mobile Memory Mouse 8000
Microsoft has launched its three new mice, called the Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 and the Mobile Memory Mouse 8000. The company said that these mice have been developed especially for notebook computers.
The portable Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 needs no external receiver as it has the ability to connect through Bluetooth. The main specs of the 5000 are high-definition laser technology that enables the device to track precisely, a LED battery life indicator. An ergonomic designed mouse also sports an on/off button and four other buttons including a back button.
The Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 from Microsoft can deliver more than three months of battery life. It also makes available USB ports for other devices, allowing user to use the mouse comfortably.
Microsoft has also announced the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 that features a 2.4GHz wireless connection, high-definition laser technology, a LED battery life indicator and an on/off button. With an ergonomic design, the mouse also provides a magnifier to enlarge a part of the screen, a snap-in receiver for convenience, and an Instant Viewer to select from all open windows with a click of the scroll wheel.
The Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 features Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connections, high-definition Laser technology and a LED battery life indicator. To switch between the Bluetooth and wireless connection, users needs to flip of the switch on the transceiver that offers 1GB of flash memory. Thus, the mouse also functions as a flash memory stick.
Moreover, the 8000 also comes with the 3-contact magnetically-held charging cable for charging the mouse while on the move. Interestingly, the Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 has the ability to sense whether the AAA battery inside is rechargeable or non-rechargeable.
Microsoft offers Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 for $49.95 (approx. Rs. 2000), the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 for the suggested price at $49.95 (approx. Rs. 2000) and the Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 for $99.95 (approx. Rs. 4000). All the Microsoft mice will be available from October.
