Yesterday, Canon USA released a new multi-functional printer called the imageCLASS MF4270.
The new system includes a laser printer speed of 21 pages per minute at a native 1200×600 DPI. Also, it includes Ethernet link to share the printer in the small office. The printer offers one-sided to two-sided copying, printing and faxing.
The system includes a paper tray having a capacity of 250 papers, and it is located at the bottom of the unit.
A scanner is placed at the top of the system that features 24-bit color, 9600 DPI scanning. Besides, the system includes built-in fax unit. The faxing solution also features PC Faxing, and two-sided duplex output.
“Canon has made vast improvements with our line of small and home office MFPs, squeezing more functionality into smaller MFP designs,” said Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. “The imageCLASS MF4270 stands as one more example of Canon bringing big business capabilities to the desktop.”
Canon plans to ship the MF4270 in September at $299 (approx Rs. 12,080).

Sorry, but this is very bad printer, because it has ethernet RJ-45 port, but you can't scan over it ( provide only scaning over USB). And those it isn't suitable for small companies etc, who need realy multifunction device.

Dear Hanz,
The fax report of your printer, prints on top of the page?
Mine prints on the middle, and Canon lead me to think that could be a problem (they said to reset the printer, bla bla bla), but they really didn't said that was wrong.
Can you help me?
Tks
