Thanks to this SP3924 model which enhances the reliability of Ethernet devices, such as wireless LAN access points, IP telephones and Webcams. The new Ethernet measures 440 (w) x 224 (d) x 44 (h) mm and weighs 2.7 kg.

The Micronet SP3908 is very similar to the SP3924. The only difference is that the SP3908 features interface of 8 DATA IN RJ-45 Ethernet ports, 8 DATA OUT PoE Injector RJ-45 Ethernet ports and one RS-232 console port.

Deepak Sharma, business development manager, Micronet (India) stated, “Power over Ethernet market is not so popular in India but surely it is going to grow aggressively as the market matures. It is simply because, Indian power condition is not at all good and the sensitive equipments, attached to the network, require clean power, which PoE is only able to assure of. The advantage with Micronet SP3924/SP3908 Power over Ethernet Midspan is that it provides QoS at a very competitive price point.”
