RTI U2 LCD Waterproof Remote Control Introduced

RTI logo Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) has unveiled its latest waterproof remote controller, dubbed U2.

RTI has developed U2 for the reliable wireless control of audio and video systems. The second generation waterproof remote control provides a simple and flexible interface for operating electronic systems, regardless of the location.

The features of RTI U2 include eight programmable “soft” buttons with an easy-to-read LCD display, which can be customized with any combination of text and graphics desired.

The waterproof LCD remote controller also sports backlit display, there are 33 tactile membrane buttons for easy access to frequently used functions and tilt switch can automatically turn on the backlight when picked up.

Other features of the RTI U2 LCD Waterproof Remote Control are:

  • Transmits commands using RF for operation through walls, cabinets, etc
  • Completely customizable, programmable and upgradable
  • Optional ‘Voltage’ and ‘Video’ sensing modules to monitor power status of equipment
  • Optional interface for RS-232 controlled equipment
  • Non-volatile Flash memory stores your system configuration even when power is not present
  • Field upgradable firmware
  • System includes four AAA alkaline batteries
  • USB Programming

    • The price of the RTI U2 LCD Waterproof Remote Control is $499 (approx. Rs. 20,000). However RTI has not revealed the availability date.
