Huawei G710 and Tracfone Ascend Plus show up on the web

Huawei G710

Certain specifications of the Huawei G710 have been leaked and another phone from the Chinese company that goes by the name Ascend Plus is slated to arrive soon via Tracfone. Along with some of the features, their pictures have surface on the web, which confirm that these handsets are indeed in the offing.

First up is the G710, a seemingly stylish phone that appears to have been packed with some high-end features. For starters, it sports dual SIM card slots and is a dual mode smartphone as it supports both GSM and CDMA mobile networks. Whether its global version will be blessed with dual slots or not, will be revealed only when the device is all set to go up for sale.

And just like most of the newly launched handsets, it offers a multi-touch real estate of 5 inches. But instead of a full HD 1080p display, the company has affixed a screen capable of projecting visuals in 720p resolution. As for the internal working of the device, it is carried out under the supervision of an unspecified quad core processor which can clock in a maximum speed of 1.5GHz.

Ascend Plus

As far as the Ascend Plus is concerned, it is already known that it will be making its debut in the US via Tracfone, but it may not be exclusive to the carrier. This device comes across as a mid-range phone that is likely to refrain from digging a huge hole in users’ pockets. It treats itself to a generous scoop of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and may receive an OTA upgrade in the future for the Jelly Bean OS.

Furthermore, the Google-certified handset hides a processor ticking at 1GHz under the hood, to call the shots. Its front panel is dominated by a 4-inch touchscreen, while the back panel reportedly houses a 5MP primary camera. Apparently, the phone will ship with 4GB onboard memory as well as an expansion slot to expand it further using a microSD card.

This is what evleakes has managed to find out about the Huawei Ascend Plus and G710, but official announcements for these devices haven’t been made as yet.
