8 new ZTE phones to show up at the MWC 2012

ZTE LTE N910

Probably trying to ensure that it doesn’t miss out on any of the important points on the mobile phone enthusiast’s checklist, ZTE has apparently decided to launch no less than 8 new handsets at the MWC 2012. It looks like the company is attempting to have all its bases covered, though some specific details would have been welcomed.

The technologies ZTE has been foraying into involve multi-core chipsets, 4G radio, LTE as well as the newest Android and Windows Mobile platforms. Additionally, the company claims that a quad core flagship smartphone is waiting in the wings for the show to begin.

“There is no doubt that this year’s Mobile World Congress will again see some exciting device launches. The new devices from ZTE will demonstrate how ZTE is without doubt among an elite group of handset providers as next generation telecommunications networks roll out globally,” averred He Shiyou, Executive Vice President and Head of the Terminals Division at ZTE.

“ZTE returns at least ten percent of its revenues back into R&D to ensure that it sustains its position as a true market innovator – and we’re counting down to being able to showcase this to the world’s mobile industry next week,” added Shiyou.

So far, the PF200, N910 and Mimosa X have already galloped out of the Chinese manufacturer’s stable. No quad core gadget there. Which means we’re eagerly awaiting the new product offerings that will ‘form the core components of ZTE’s ambition to become one among the top three handset providers by 2015.’

The 8 new ZTE phones will be exhibited at the MWC 2012 that is set to be convened between February 27 and March 1, in Barcelona. We’re expecting proper rendering of product information to be on the company’s agenda at the show.
