U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S II set to grace the mobile terrain soon
The U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone will soon be available for mobile enthusiasts who wish to acquire the same through this network carrier. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor, it runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
The successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy S offers 16GB of internal storage space, which can be expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot. This smartphone comes embedded with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display coated with Corning Gorilla Glass and features Swype technology that facilitates faster picture, video and text messaging.

Operating on a 650mAh battery, this handset is capable of delivering talk time and standby time of up to 3 hours and 250 hours, respectively. Furthermore, it employs the TouchWiz user interface and is capable of supporting HTML as well as Flash applications.
The U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S II price reads $229.99 (approx. Rs. 11,322) after a $100 mail-in rebate. Its release date has not yet been disclosed.
