The all new Samsung Galaxy mini 2 is the latest entrant in the company’s smartphone range. It is claimed to be a mid-range handset that aims to deliver a decent performance as well as engaging features while on the move.

Appearing quite sleek in its colorful 11.9mm encapsulation, the device sports a 3MP camera on the rear panel with fixed focus. Incorporating a 1,300mAh battery, the phone functions on the Samsung Touchwiz interface and features various types of services like Social Hub, Music Hub and ChatON for social butterflies.

Besides serving up a scoop of the Android Gingerbread OS, the device is also embedded with an 800MHz processor. As far as the display is concerned, a 3.27-inch HVGA TFT screen sporting 320 x 480p resolutions is on offer. What’s more, the handset even features 4GB user memory as well as 512MB RAM. The hoarding space can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy mini 2 pricing and availability details have not been divulged by the company as yet. Before a global rollout, the phone is expected to hit stores in France by March.
