While the One S is gearing up for its launch through T-Mobile, the HTC One X will be accompanying it to the markets via AT&T in the US. The carrier will start accepting pre-orders for its first Android 4.0 based 4G LTE device from April 22 and it will be made available on May 6.

The flagship smartphone of the One series is draped by an HD 720p touchscreen spanning 4.7 inches on its stylish unibody chassis carved out of polycarbonate. The laminated cover glass and a touch layer cuts down on the light reflection, while Corning Gorilla glass resists scratches and scrapes. Its 8MP HD camera works in tandem with the ImageSense technology and the new ImageChip to produce improved quality pictures.

The 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor fuels the device and it draws power from a 1800mAh battery. The enhanced audio rendering can be attributed to the integrated Beats Audio. This technology eliminates distortion at high volume and works toward delivering deeper bass. Moreover, the built-in Sync Manager software facilitates transferring music, videos and more to the phone from a computer system.

Some other features include applications like HTC Watch for access to movies as well as compatibility with Beats Audio accessories. Also, the HDMI connector of the handset should let users watch its content on big screen HDTVs.

The AT&T HTC One X release date and price are May 6 and $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,400), respectively. Pre-orders begin on April 22.
