Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD Verizon release date out, packs better battery life

Verizon Razr Maxx HD

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD Verizon release date has surfaced and it’s scheduled for the holiday season. The company is continuing the tradition set by the earlier version by delivering an extended battery life through this 9.3mm thick device.

The handset takes on a 4.7-inch HD touch panel that’s scratch- and water-resistant, owing to the Corning Gorilla Glass covering and splash-guard coating, respectively. Wrapped in DuPoint Kevlar fiber for augmented durability, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD Verizon device packs in a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. It has the Ice Cream Sandwich platform hosting the show with a possible upgrade to the Jelly Bean OS by the end of this year.

The front and back panels are outfitted with a 1.3MP and 8MP snapper, respectively. The former enables video conferencing, while the latter camera records clips in full HD. Users will be able to upload images to social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter over 4G LTE and Wi-Fi. Other than that, connectivity features like Mobile Hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth and GPS are thrown in as well.

One of the main aspects of this handset is its battery life. It ensures up to 21 hours of talktime, around 13 hours of video playback or approximately 8 hours of web browsing over 4G LTE. The handset offers up to 32 hours of normal usage on a single charge.

The company is yet to disclose the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD Verizon price details. However, its release date has been scheduled to fall sometime during the holiday season.
